The Crown, a long standing favourite close to the magnificent parkland of Stonor House, is a 15th century brick and flint coaching inn with origins that may well date back to the 11th century.
People come from near and far to sample a finely kept pint of beer, a light lunch or a sophisticated three-course dinner. The Crown has a charming and relaxed atmosphere - roaring log fires, church candles, no jukeboxes or loud music, just the sound of people chatting, eating and enjoying themselves.
Open all week from 11.30 to 14.30 and from 18.00 to 23.00
(Sundays 12.00 to 15.00 and 19.00 to 22.00)
Closed: 25-26 December, 1 January
